



Throughout her legal career, she has been a general practitioner and can provide legal services in a variety of practice areas.
She is experienced in family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, dependency, juvenile delinquency, and has served as guardian for abused and neglected children. She is trained and serves as a Snohomish County Guardian ad Litem.
She prepares documents for estate planning, including wills and health care directives for all ages. She understands the special care needed in representing and protecting elderly and vulnerable clients.
She assists non-profit organizations in chartering and preparing by-laws and has served on boards of directors of non-profit and fine arts organizations.
Her career includes service as a Public Defender and as a Municipal Court Prosecutor. She has experience defending criminal cases at all levels, including misdemeanor cases in municipal courts, serious felonies in both state and federal courts, death penalty cases and post-conviction appeals.

Yvonne K. Chapman is a conservative lawyer with over 30 years experience as an attorney, licensed in Washington, Tennessee, and Mississippi.

In addition to her law degree, Yvonne earned a
Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice,
magna cum laude.
She has enjoyed teaching business law, ethics, and
criminal justice courses at various colleges for
several years.
Yvonne developed the premier preadmission
education program for the Washington State Bar
Association where it was her privilege to
collaborate with local bar associations statewide
in producing live seminars for new Washington
attorneys.
Yvonne has a long history of community service and
believes in contributing her time and talents
whenever possible. Some of her activities have
included previous service as an officer of local
bar associations, training youth for Teen Court,
volunteering with the Boy Scouts as a Merit Badge
Counselor, supporting the ministries of Mukilteo
Presbyterian Church, and service to Mukilteo
public schools.
She retired as an Officer in the Navy Reserves and
is a trained Community Emergency Response Team
(CERT) member.
Yvonne is an allied attorney with the
Alliance Defense Fund and is available to
churches, faith-based organizations, and
schools for speaking engagements on issues
involving Constitutional rights, including
First Amendment religious freedoms, the
sanctity of human life, and traditional
family values.
Also, she can provide legal assistance to
individuals and organizations in defending
and advocating those rights and values.
Appropriate cases may qualify for pro bono
representation.
